Hey college kids! Don’t forget to bring your Kindle to class!

Amazon has made college students’ lives a little easier by introducing a new program called “Kindle Textbook Rental.”  It allows students to rent textbooks at a cheaper price right on their Amazon Kindle.

There are tens of thousands of textbooks in the Kindle store—from publishers such as Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, and John Wiley & Sons—helping students in all areas and subjects.  Amazon says the rental prices are up to 80 percent lower than the actual cost of textbooks, saving students a ton of money! :)

Another plus about Amazon’s new program is that the textbooks can be accessed from any Kindle reading app, whether its on a Mac, iPad, iPhone, PC, Blackberry, Windows phone, or Android.

The Kindle textbook store allows users to rent textbooks from anywhere between 30 and 360 days.  Users also have the option of buying the book at any time or extending their rental.

So want to lighten your load when walking to class and save some big bucks—to buy other things, say, I don’t know, food maybe?  All you have to do is take advantage of the Kindle Textbook Rental.  Say goodbye to aching shoulders on those dreadful, endless walks to class and say hello to the light, all-you-need Kindle!
