A Radio Star is Born at eZanga!

By Megan Ingenbrandt,June 27, 2014

Video didn’t kill this radio star! When our marketing team came across a HARO query from Kevin Price looking for someone to interview for his program, we knew there was only one man for the job, our Director of Sales, Eli Martin! He’s got the radio voice of an angel; his voice is a mixture of Fergie and Jesus! Martin phoned in to Price’s show on May 16 to discuss limiting distractions in order to build the most substantial relationships with your clients. At eZanga, we’re all about the relationship first – the sale is just an added bonus.

eZanga Goes BLUE for the NDH Bash

eZanga Goes BLUE for the NDH Bash

By Megan Ingenbrandt,June 19, 2014

Last week, the eZanga crew donned our best blue (and Brittany’s ruby red slippers, of course) and walked the blue carpet for the NDH Blue Carpet Bash, before dancing the Macarena all night. As you may remember, eZanga was named a finalist in the “Best Places to Work 2014” category along with University of Delaware.

The YMCA of Delaware took home the award for “Best Place to Work” for 2014, while The Fun Dept. and Santa Fe Mexican Bar & Grill were among others nominated in the same category. We're so excited that YOU picked us for this honor so we wanted to share some of our favorite photos from the night with everyone who voted for us!

We’ve Worked Hard for 11 Years: Time to Play Hard and Eat Hard

We’ve Worked Hard for 11 Years: Time to Play Hard and Eat Hard

By Gary Rotsch,June 17, 2014

As many of you may know, eZanga and Jimmy Hoppa recently turned 11 years-old! And earlier this month many of us gathered at Rich and Beth Kahn’s (eZanga’s owners) house in Middletown to celebrate with a good old-fashioned barbeque.

We don’t hide the fact that we love food and eating here at eZanga, so naturally the only way we are going to celebrate was to fire up the grill and have some hamburgers and hot dogs. Luckily, even though we had to reschedule a few times, we got a beautiful summer day here in Delaware, and we sure made the best of it.

Our Marketing Team Demands Success

Our Marketing Team Demands Success

By Brittany Berger,June 12, 2014

Last week was an exciting one for our marketing department. Michelle, Megan, and Brittany traveled to the National Harbor near Washington, D.C. for the Vocus Demand Success PR and marketing conference.

Members of our department have attended before, but this year we were also on a panel of Vocus Marketing Suite customers. In our unbiased opinion, we rock the Vocus Marketing Suite. So imagine how excited we were to be told that Vocus agreed, and wanted us to talk about it?

Brittany, our digital content supervisor, was on a panel with another VMS user, David Laxton, and Vocus Product Manager Abby Hammer. The group talked about challenges facing marketing departments today, how Vocus Marketing Suite can help solve them, and results we and the Autism Society of North Carolina have seen from using the marketing automation software.

Since this was a PR and marketing conference, with a heavy focus on social, we thought, "What better way to recap the event than with a collection of our own social posts from the past week?" So here you go:

Say Hello to Summer and Our Newest Crop of Interns

By Samantha Selby,June 11, 2014

Summer is here at eZanga, and with it begins our summer internship program. We’ll be working all summer with the eZanga team, and I wanted to introduce the interns to you. This rag tag group of misfits are here to “work hard, play hard, eat hard,” and learn all we can from the eZanga team for the next few months. We’ve had a few weeks to get to know everyone, and now it’s your turn to finally meet us! So without further adieu, meet eZanga’s summer interns.
