Intern Manifesto: What Gary's Internship Was Like

Intern Manifesto: What Gary's Internship Was Like

My time interning at eZanga has been one of immense learning and a great experience for me. When I started at eZanga, the only marketing experience I had was my time in Intro to Marketing at UD, which equates to about nothing.

So, coming into a marketing position from doing computer science for the past three years meant I had very little knowledge of what was going to happen and what I was going to be expected to do.

We’ve got the eye of the tiger (and not just LSU)!

College football season is upon us, and, of course, the eZanga team is pumped! We’re so pumped that we put together our list of the top songs to get you psyched up for the big game.

An Open Letter to Our Summer 2014 Interns

An Open Letter to Our Summer 2014 Interns

I am watching each of you experience the thrill of knowing when you have done something that you know will alter the path of your life. I fully believe not all of you knew what you were getting yourselves into when joining eZanga. And, yet, I think most of you will miss us when us when you’re gone.

But I am going to let you in on a secret – we’re going to miss you too. I know, let the sappiness roll, but really, we will. Not because you baked us cookies, or got us coffee (not that we’re complaining), but because we think that each of you have walked away with skills and knowledge that will help make you a tremendous asset in your first job.

Hopefully, you’ve reflected on what you learned here at eZanga. But in case you haven’t, here are my observations and nuggets of wisdom to take with you, wherever you may go after this.

By Samantha Selbypublished August 7, 2014comments 2 Comments

It’s time for us summer interns to say goodbye. We’ve had a great time hanging out with the eZanga team this summer, but now it’s time for these little birdies to spread their wings and fly. But before we do that, we want to share with you what we’ve learned this summer and what we’ll miss most after we’ve said our tearful goodbyes.

A HUGE eZanga Welcome to Our Newest Employee, Maurice!

A HUGE eZanga Welcome to Our Newest Employee, Maurice!

By Justin Swanpublished July 24, 2014comments Leave a Comment

This week, the eZanga team has had the pleasure of welcoming our newest employee, Maurice Gattis! Maurice will be working as an Account Manager in our sales department. With jerseys hung all over cubicles and walls (these guys - and gal - love their sports), he’s looking forward to the competitive spirit of sales, and isn’t afraid to express his love for the Baltimore Ravens!

Maurice has a background in insurance sales, but is excited to get involved in a business that requires him to interact with people on a more personal level. He’s always willing to learn and progress, both personally and professionally, so he can’t wait to get started. We’re sure he’ll have no problem fitting in here, because his friends are important to him, which is in line with eZanga’s own values.

His first impressions of eZanga are positive (thank goodness!) and he says it seems like a really great place to work. Maurice likes how laid back we are - now he can wear his Ravens gear to work!

eZanga Goes Under the Hammer For a Full Office Makeover!

If you’ve visited our office in the past six months, you’ve probably noticed a nifty little sign in our lobby begging you to “excuse our mess” because we were renovating! Well, we’re excited to announce that renovations to eZanga’s office are complete, and construction is officially through (at least, for now!).

Hershey’s Gets a Few Extra Nuts Thrown In

Last week, because Rich and Beth Kahn are just so good to us, they sent the entire eZanga team and our families on our annual trip to Hershey Park for a day to play hard and eat hard, leaving the work hard here in Middletown.

After a long nap, I mean… a two and a half hour bus ride, we arrived and embarked on our journey filled of twists and turns, laughter and screams, and chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate. Oh, and did we mention the roller coasters? Wildcat, Sooperdooperlooper, and Log Flumes, oh my!
