Rich Kahn Named 2012 Small Business Influencer Community Choice Honoree

For weeks, everyone at eZanga has been talking about the Small Business Influencer awards. We tweeted, Facebooked, and even made a video telling you why you should vote for our CEO, Rich Kahn.

Well, all that work has paid off. Voting is over, and Rich was named a Small Business Influencer Commnity Choice Honoree in the Leaders category. Rich was one of the top five vote getters in the category.

The Small Business Influencer Awards honor those who are influential to small businesses in North America, through the products, services, knowledge, information or support they provide to the small business market. The Leaders nomination category includes executives, academics, government officials, or key employees who are part of organizations serving the small business market.

One of the purposes of the Small Business Influencer awards is to enable the small business community to show support for those that support them and influence them. Rich had enough support to be a Community Choice Honoree, and everyone at eZanga thanks you for that!

What Would Your Small Business Do With $250K?

Chase and LivingSocial are sponsoring an initiative that illustrates their dedication to small businesses nationwide. Mission: Small Business is a program that will award up to 12 individual grants of $250,000 to small business owners.

Why? To provide small businesses with resources needed to make a positive impact on their business.  In order to be selected, companies must adhere to a multi-step application process. Once they qualify, they will be reviewed by a panel of six people, including Tim O’Shaughnessy, CEO and co-founder of Living Social. Grant recipients will be announced on or before September 15th, 2012.

 

Qualifications:

  • Have less than 100 employees
  • Have been in business for at least 2 years
  • Show community involvement
  • Explain why their business is unique
  • Outline a proposed plan for utilizing the Grant
  • At least 250 votes by June 30th, 2012 (you can vote here.)

eZanga Would Create More Jobs

eZanga is enthusiastic about Mission: Small Business. If awarded, the grant would be used to aid job creation – up to 10 new positions in the Information Technology and Marketing Departments.  Additional employees would advance eZanga’s efforts to provide affordable products and services to boost the growth of small business. “Mom and Pop Shop” and “Brick and Mortar Business” success has been part of eZanga’s vision since the beginning.

Philadelphia SmartCEO Announces the 2012 SmartCXO Winners

Philadelphia SmartCEO magazine announced the 2012 SmartCXO Award honorees, and eZanga’s COO, Angel Pabon, was chosen as one of their SmartCOO’s in the Greater Philadelphia region! The SmartCXO Awards celebrate the distinguished achievements of forty of Greater Philadelphia’s finest management executives. As a whole, the companies represented in the 2012 Philadelphia SmartCXO Awards generate $98.6 billion in revenue and manage 64,600 employees in the Greater Philadelphia area. The 2012 SmartCXOs were profiled in the March 2012 issue of Philadelphia SmartCEO.

Winners will be recognized at the Philadelphia SmartCEO SmartCXO awards ceremony on March 14, 2012, at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia, PA. More than 400 local C-level executives and guests will attend to celebrate their achievements.

eZanga Named SmartCEO Future 50 Company Second Year in a Row

For the second year in a row eZanga.com has been named one of SmartCEO’s Future 50 companies in the Greater Philadelphia area. The Future 50 awards recognizes the area’s 50 fastest-growing companies based on employee and revenue growth over the past three years. The impressive group leads companies that boast $10 billion in collective revenues and manage more than 55,000 employees in the Greater Philadelphia area.

The award ceremony is being held tonight, January 12, at the Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill, PA from 6:00-9:00 PM. eZanga.com CEO and CFO, Rich and Beth Kahn will be attending. Check out what Rich had to say about eZanga  in SmartCEO’s most recent magazine featuring the Future 50 winners.

eZanga Makes Lead411 Technology 200 List

For the second year in a row, eZanga has made Lead411′s list of Top Technology companies in the nation coming in at number 97, higher than last year’s ranking. Usually an extended ‘Top 500′,  Lead411 has focused only on the top 200 companies this year.

The Tech 200 list is based on revenue percentage growth from 2008 to 2010–eZanga with a 65% growth. Applicants needed to be a privately-held business in the United States, earning more than $1 million in the past year.

eZanga Makes Deloitte’s Greater Philadelphia Fast 50 and North America Fast 500

For the third year in a row, eZanga.com has made Deloitte’s Greater Philadelphia Fast 50 list coming in at number 12, and also ranking on Deloitte’s National Fast 500 list at number 368 for the second year in a row. A revenue growth of 217% from 2006 to 2010 has allowed eZanga to be included on this prestigious list along with other fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Congratulations to eZanga.com for their continuing growth and success!

eZanga CEO Rich Kahn Included in Philadelphia Smart100 Book

Last night was the unveiling of Smart CEO Magazine’s first Philadelphia Smart100 book.  The highly anticipated Smart100 soiree was held at the Phoenix Penthouse located at 16th and Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA . eZanga CEO, Rich Kahn is featured on page 47 where it outlines his leadership, character and entrepreneurial sense.

Smart100 CEOs span the many industries that are succeeding in the Greater Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, DC regions. The influential stories of these selected CEOs become the source of education and inspiration to more than 45,000 decision-makers across the Mid-Atlantic.

Fourth Straight Year on Inc. 5000 List for eZanga.com

Inc. 500|5000 released their 2011 list of ‘Fastest Growing Private Companies in America’. For the fourth year in a row, eZanga.com has been included on this prestigious list. Rounding in the top half of the 5000 ranks the company came in at number 1171 overall. Within the Greater Philadelphia Metro Area, eZanga placed 35th and ranked 117th within the Advertising and Marketing industry.

eZanga.com is honored to be included on the list and once again would like to thank their devoted staff for such a successful growth rate and supportive executive team for creating a fun, fast-paced work environment!

With 520 nominations and over 125,000 votes the top 100 Small Business Influencer Champions 2011 list was announced, and eZanga.com’s CEO Rich Kahn was included!
