SES New York: Recap

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

The eZanga staff attended yet another Search Engine Strategies Expo (SES) in New York. With a busy booth as usual, the SES attendees stood in line to get their eZanga frog and meet the staff.

The new eZanga employees were able to experience their first trade show as a team. “Our team has been working great together, and I’m excited to see what’s in the future,” says Richard K. Kahn, eZanga’s CEO. The Company recently rose to number 16 on ranking.com’s most visited web portals earning them official bragging rights at SES.

Of course there was another eZanga giveaway. Congratulations to David Pfeffer with Crown Consulting Corporation! His business card was the lucky one drawn from the fishbowl winning him a new iPhone. However, no one left empty handed; we made sure everyone who entered took home a frog. But don’t worry if you haven’t won any giveaways, try your luck at one of New York’s hot dog vendors…if you have an extra eZanga frog to spare; you may get a nice discount! :)

Click Fraud Presentation Given by eZanga’s CEO at SMX

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

eZanga’s CEO, Richard Kahn, exposes Click Fraud as the topic in his presentation at the 2008 Search Marketing Expo (SMX).

February 27, 2008, Richard Kahn, eZanga.com’s CEO, was recently selected to speak at the 2008 Search Marketing Expo (SMX) in Santa Clara, California. His discussion included various tactics to discover and eliminate click fraud from advertisers’ pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.

In Kahn’s discussion, he revealed that “Click fraud is the practice of clicking on ads for the sole purpose of earning money directly and/or causing harm to another company’s advertising campaign.” With high levels of click fraud, the advertiser can be cheated out his or her PPC campaign due to these fraudulent clicks. Kahn went on to explain that all types of individuals are committing click fraud for various reasons such as earning fast money or simply just to knock down competition.

Kahn believes solutions for eliminating click fraud can be achieved if customers and search engines work together in spotting sources of traffic that do not convert well for their ad campaigns. These advertisers can also choose to target the geographical locations they want in order to be sure not to attract non-converting traffic. By taking advantage of performance tracking tools their search engines provide, it will help in optimizing ad campaigns.

Richard Kahn has been testing his theories of click fraud at eZanga.com, Inc., as owner of the search engine specializing in pay-per-click advertising. Kahn, along with his partner, Angel Pabon, eZanga’s COO, together have become experts in the field after they developed a fraud filtration system called Traffic Advisors. Kahn and Pabon officially launched the system on October 30, 2007, and noticed immediate results in detecting fraud.

eZanga’s CEO is scheduled to speak on Click Fraud

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

“Eliminating Fraud from Your PPC Campaigns” is the talk that will be given by our own Richard Kahn at the up and coming Search Marketing Expo (SMX) on Wednesday February 27, 2008 starting at 2:30 in Theater A.

SMX is a fast grown Expo in the Search Engine Marketing arena lead by Search Veteran Danny Sullivan. eZanga was one of the exhibitors at the first SMX West exhibit in 2007 and plans on being a continued supporter of this event.

With years of experience dedicated to the detection and elimination of Click Fraud, Rich Kahn has been asked to speak for the first time on the subject. If you have the pleasure of attending this event, don’t expect a highly polished professional speaker. Rich is a down to earth, hard working entrepreneur and is happy to share some of his secrets to SMX’s attendees. However, rest assured you will learn some valuable information, which will surely help you improve your campaigns and know the signs to watch out for in your own campaigns.

For more information on this event, you can visit the SMX web site. For more information and schedule on Rich’s talk on click fraud you can check the schedule at SMX’s web site as well.

Ad:Tech in New York City

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

Well, we eZanga had yet another GREAT show at the Ad:Tech show in New York City. There were thousands of people walking the exhibit floors causing traffic jams at every turn. Yes, I did say floors…there were three floors of exhibits. However, there was just not enough floor space to handle the crowds. As an exhibitor, we look forward to the day this show is moved to the Jacob Javits Center (Hint…Hint).

Anyway, we were able to meet with many of our clients and many more people that wanted to discuss our recent Press Release on Traffic Advisors. There were 11 of us from the eZanga team there, and we could have used 11 more. Next time we’ll have to bring the rest of the crew.

As usual, we gave away a Nintendo Wii console with Wii Play. However, with thousands of business cards in our fish bowl and only several hundred that fit around our booth for the giveaway…we had to pull 21 cards to find our lucky winner.

In the end our winner was: Shareen Dunn from Power Creative

However, we pulled the following names out in this order before finding our winner:

Niraj Shah of electric Vine
Don Fiechter of Visioneering Games
Cheryl A. Jasper of Haymarket media inc.
Kate Goebel of The Week Magazine
Michael Tuccillo of eWay Direct
Adam Hua of Industry Brians
Jennifer Lieberman of Initiative
Milena Badjova of Cashfiesta
Clinton A. Lowe of C.Allen Lowe & Associates, LLC.
Todd Schwartzfarb of Wire Streak Media
Stephen B. Scanlon of Offer Alliance
LaDell Fuqua of Mochila
Kyla Starinieri of MarchEX
Matt Camarco of Ticket Network
Chistopher Dessi of AzoogleAds
Eran Arden of Flix Wagon
Jennifer Bonte of IAG
Zaghie Marte of aordominicana.com
Peter Parker of Spur Digital
Rich Hanley of eLethal Media

If your name is on this list, we feel bad that you were not there to win your Wii, however, as a consolation prize, if you contact us, we will be more than happy to send you out a consolation prize of a winner’s only eZanga T-Shirt.

With so many people and so little time, we did not get a chance to take many pictures, however, here are a few shots that we did manage to take.
